A blacklist manufacturers who do not update the Android? This is why it is an excellent idea
the only ones who lose the decision are the manufacturers that do not invest 100% on Android. Here’s why this is a good thing

For trade relations ( and interpersonal ) function are needed two essential elements: commitment & amp; guarantees
If a party does not undertake, there can be no guarantees -.. and if a party does not offer guarantees, it is difficult to reach a compromise
This generates a imbalance .
Also no one has the patience to play the lottery when buying a new product.
There are companies ( including manufacturers and operators ) that just do not know how to relate to consumers.
Google is considering intervening in this respect , and I think is a good idea
in other words:. the manufacturers who do not upgrade to newer versions of Android are now listed by Google ( which, to become public benefit immense consumers )
I think a fantastic idea for two reasons.
- general requirement brands to commit to offering guarantees
- would promote smarter and safer options
the brands that did not offer fast updates would be overtaken by that offer.
This force companies / telecom operators to one of two options:
- Update the software of your products
- Exit the race
no one leaves to lose if a weak competitor leave the race. you do not have much to offer and is thus less a bad investment that is likely to do.
Certainly your wallet not complain.
listing may also include companies that take too long to update your Android devices.
This will present new challenges for most small manufacturers but, as a consumer, I have to remind me of the sense of frustration that is paying for a product only to see the company that manufactured back on his word
after all, it’s not unheard be companies that do not meet the promised -. because companies, as people also change their ideas and opinion .
We would go out to win it with this, solve the Android fragmentation problem.
I do not see this hypothesis as being realistic, at least 100% , but I believe that such a solution would help alleviate this problem.
a consumer would know who count ( or not ) and to whom it would be worth paying to buy a phone or tablet
and the manufacturers who do not go well, quickly lose market place -. forcing that around here stay to provide even better service to ensure its continuity.
this would also make Android a more secure and reliable platform.
All this theoretically , would be exceptional.
But is dependent on other variables, such as Google’s criteria for listing and public ease of access to that information.
If to pay the same for two options, I prefer to serve me better. Simple and logical.
Who would not want that?
