As we know, war between mobile operating systems are lit more than ever. We have witnessed several strategies by the various players in the market in order to “steal” users to other platforms, as happened recently with Apple.

Now comes Microsoft to deliver an application in the Play Store to facilitate the migration of Android users to Windows Phone. The application in question for the migration process is called “Switch to Windows Phone” and is in the respective stores.

Remember that this application only allows you to migrate the user’s personal data such as contacts , photographs, SMS’s, music and videos. Since there is no compatibility between Android and Windows Phone applications, they can not be transferred.

“Switch to Windows Phone” can be used in two ways. If the user desires can just install the “Switch to Windows Phone”, back up your information and transfer to onedrive. Once in the Cloud, you can download it for Windows Phone without having to install the app in the second equipment.

The other solution is to install the app on both devices (Android and Windows Phone) and proceed to transfer in real time through a Wi-Fi network.

With this application Microsoft hopes to make the process usually dull, a simple task and so gain new users.

You can download the application to the Play Store and Windows Phone Store
