The Google announced on its blog that will stop the development and support of the Android Developer Tools (ADT) for Eclipse. With this decision, the giant of the research wants to focus on developing its own IDE, Android Studio, leaving aside the Eclipse.
Is it the end of Android in development in Eclipse?
For several years the Eclipse was the preferred IDE programmers to develop for Android . In 2013 Google launched Android Studio and nothing stated that this was a true competitor Eclipse.
Not likely achieving the desired notoriety, Google moved to a backup plan and decided to end development and support ADT for Eclipse referring that will focus specifically on the Android Studio.
