LG G2 Mini starts to be upgraded to Android 5.0 in the Lollipop … – Tudocelular.com

A few days after the official announcement, LG is offering the upgrade to Android 5.0 Lollipop to the G2 Mini owners. Earlier this week, the South Korean company has used its official Facebook profile to confirm that the ‘small’ unit receive the latest version of Google’s operating system. The page in question is that of Greece, precisely the same place where the first lucky ones are being awarded the update, including publishing screen shots that show the interface brand new ‘lollipop’ with smooth transitions and emphasis on minimalism:

Note that although Android 5.0 Lollipop aspects are prominent in the distribution of the virtual environment, LG even gave her ‘special touch’ with their own modification of the little robot, Optimus UX, which is in its version 4.0 in the most modern products of South Korean brand. Because of these changes in visual and platform operation, the company took over half a year to provide the update into the G2 Mini owners, besides the necessary optimizations for firmware run perfectly between the software and the hardware reducing the former flagship G2 .

G2 Mini, despite having released publicly some time ago, still shows the power to run the latest release of Google, carrying a 4.7-inch screen resolution 960 x 540 pixels, 1 GB RAM, Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 chipset with quad-core processor running at 1.2 GHz, Adreno 305 for the graphics, 8GB of memory for internal, expandable storage via microSD card up to 32 GB, main and front camera 8:01 , 3 megapixel, rear LED flash, and 2440 mAh battery to power all of the above components.

Unfortunately, there is only news of the update to Android 5.0 Lollipop in units of LG G2 Mini in Greece. On the other hand, like other release processes updates, chances availability be extended to international order soon. Apparently, the model with the NVIDIA Tegra chipset 4i is still out Fit selection to upgrade to the lollipop, giving exclusivity to the version with Qualcomm piece. Let’s wait until more information on the update of the worldwide release are released by South Korean.
