Android M corrects fault with system.img in manual flash factory … – Tudocelular.com

The installation is often accomplished by downloading and factory image flash, but a failure has prevented this process for those who wish to install Android 5.0 Lollipop .

Even following the Site guidelines dedicated to Android developers, users have faced the message error “missing system.img” . This is because the factory image has been extracted in RAM often insufficient to contain it after decompression, causing the aforementioned failure.

The problem until now could only be circumvented in two ways, through a tool like the Nexus Root Tookit, or specific commands via ADB console. But with the latest version of fastboot to the Android M the problem is finally solved . The information was shared via social network Google+ by Elliott Hughes, giant software engineer from Mountain View.
