Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge are already getting the Android 5.1.1 … Lollipop – Tudocelular.com

Users of the new high-end smartphones from Samsung, Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge, are following a busy week in positive ways. A week ago the upgrade to Android 5.1.1 Lollipop began to be released for versions of the North American operator T-Mobile, providing evidence that the arrival for other users was closer, which was confirmed today.

Do a few hours that the French began to receive the latest version of Android for Galaxy line S6, but the update is coming officially to all users of the various markets around the globe via Samsung Kies. If you are with your smartphone at hand and want to check if the new software is now available just visit the “Settings” menu, “About Device” and “Software Updates”.

The information comes from SamMobile, which often provide the files for manual installation and also made this new version for the more impatient and knowledge to perform the procedure. Among the new features present in Android 5.1.1 for the Galaxy Lollipop S6 and S6 Edge we highlight the inclusion of manual controls for the camera, parallax effect on the wallpaper and interface changes, such as allowing the removal of the S Finder and Quick Connect from notifications window. We do not have information whether the update fixes the problem with quick shortcut to activate mobile data (which won a solution via specific application from Samsung).

Another Samsung model that should receive the update soon is the Galaxy Note 4, which should see a successor very soon to meet future releases of the Apple iPhone 6s and 6s Plus. It seems that the Korean manufacturer is seeking to reverse the declines in global sales with faster release updates to its main devices, since the input models and intermediate continue in the background accordingly.
