Samsung corrects audio latency in Android that continues … – Tudocelular.com

Android Lollipop came to fix some bugs KitKat that lingered from older versions of the system. One reference is made to the audio latency, something that bothers many music lovers and using smartphones connected to musical equipment to study or even hobby. This latency, which should have been corrected in the latest update of Android, still affecting all manufacturers devices.

The Samsung is the only one, for now, that bothered to solve this problem. The company’s first smartphone to come with this corrected latency are the Galaxy Note 4 and Note Edge, both still in KitKat. Now, with the update for Lollipop, South Korea has released the fix for the company’s other models, such as the Galaxy S5.

Below you can check two amateur videos made by users who noticed change. In the first, we can see the delay caused in the Nexus 5 by touching the screen and the time the system takes to produce the expected sound. The test was done with the KitKat and also with lollipop and even connected to a stereo via USB OTG, the delay remains.

The second video was made with the Galaxy S5 with the official update for Android Lollipop which began to be released recently by Samsung. Here you can see that the system responds to the touch of a lot faster than the Nexus 5. The fix also come to the other members of the Galaxy family that will be upgraded to the latest version of Android.
