 Android Lollipop

The Lollipop version of Android is not quite new, but not all users of Google’s operating system are taking advantage of its latest version. There is still a lot of people on the waiting list for a possible upgrade by manufacturers.

The Android 5.0 Lollipop marked an important and remarkable upgrade from previous versions of the mobile platform, but need not despair if the your device has not yet entered the list of updates. Even without presenting major problems, there are still some points to be considered in time to abandon the old Android 4.4 KitKat.

Here are seven reasons to show why the Android Lollipop is not for you:

1. You want to have the traditional silent mode on your phone

“Privacy Mode” available on Android 5.0 is pretty cool (despite not having an extremely intuitive configuration), but many users still want to have the good old “Quiet Mode” on their phones. Unfortunately, the supporters of the more conventional methods need to use widgets third on your home screen to not be bothered by smartphone noises at certain times.

2. You do not like the new version of the button multitasking

Access to newer applications has been redesigned Android Lollipop and now gathers too much information open applications as activities within each app. Thus, the task switcher tends to get full faster than Walmart in the morning of Black Friday in the United States

3. You want to use widgets on your lock screen

We will combine the new Android lock screen is really interesting, but some people certainly will not like novelty. This is because the lock screen widgets are no longer supported in the new version of Android.

4. You did not like the Material Design

Although most users have worshiped the new operating system design, it may be that some do not agree with the concept. The Material Design features a color palette created especially for depth between applications with different layers, among other things. However, it may be that some users think that children invaded the Google offices and stole the boards of interface designers, taking account of the colors used in the system.

5. You want a power button more “powerful”

Android KitKat was possible to activate airplane mode via the power button, which also housed options to switch between different sound modes. These options were extinguished Android Lollipop and now the button only serves to turn the phone off, or restart in safe mode by tapping and holding the “off”.

6. You want the indicator LED to continue running while the phone is in silent mode

I’m sorry, but that is not the Android Lollipop . If you enable the priority mode, the LED indicator will stop blinking light and if you have any pending notification. This item, together with the lack of the old silent mode, makes the new philosophy of system notifications is lacking

7. Xposed Framework

If you use the KitKat and can not imagine living without the popular framework that offers many customization options without the need for profound changes in the system, you better get on with your version of Android. Some developers have said the Lollipop made it virtually impossible using Xposed Framework.
