you All know that, although iOS and the iPhone being the most profitable, it is Android that dominates the market of smartphones, the number of units sold.
But if this is a domain that is natural, for various reasons, has never been so strong as now. In the last quarter almost 90% of the smartphones sold were Android.
The numbers that prove this new maximum Android have been advanced by market analysis firm Strategy Analytics, which estimates that in the third quarter of 2016, 88% of the smartphones that entered the market were powered by the Google operating system.

This value does not happen by chance and results in loss of the competing systems, and the natural enjoyment that has been done by Android. Not if they sold less smartphones, on the contrary, with the value for the quarter to be 375,4 million units, which represents a growth of 6% in relation to 2015.

Interestingly the loss of Apple result in lower sales than expected in China and in Africa. In the case of Android part of its growth results from the sales of the equipment of the range, mainly in emerging markets.
Even with this full domain, Google and Android have some important challenges ahead. This OS is present with increasingly more brands and with more and more equipment, which means that profits are reduced. Few brands have been able to have high profits, and Google itself, with the new Pixel, is competing directly with its partners.
