The official app of Cortana received an update to Android devices. The virtual assistant of Microsoft gets to version 1.9.12 with bug fixes, performance improvements, and the most important: she now has access to calendar data for remember you about important events.
With access to multiple calendars, multiple email accounts, Cortana, can issue alerts about friends ‘ birthdays, and meetings that cannot be lost, for example. The wizard, in fact, promises to fix bugs in the data retrieval of the markings on the to-do list of the day, something that should avoid problems in the real world.
Another interesting new feature is the increase precision to locate the smartphone of the user. Although it seems an invasion of privacy, the feature is important for specific functions of Cortana, as reminders geo-located. With the change, you should be reminded about things to buy at the grocery store, among other types of reminders that are configured manually.
The app Cortana is not available for download in the Play Store brazilian, but you can always install the file APK to test on your Android – make sure you allow downloading from unknown sources in security settings.
