Today all people would surely know that the mobile phones are already part of the human being, are extensions of his own body. But had not yet been scientifically proven a direct link between the type of smartphone and the psychological profile that uses it.
according To a study conducted by a group of psychologists from the University of Lancaster, Uk, four out of five adult britons have a smartphone, being that the market is divided between the two big operating systems: iOS and Android.
the findings of The study indicate that the OS users of Google tend to be men, older, more honest, more friendly, less likely to break the rules for the sake of own benefit and less imported with the social status and wealth.
on the other hand, psychologists have inferred that iPhone users are mostly women, most new users of Android, more inclined to look to their mobile phones as elements of social status, more extroverted, and tend not to restrain themselves from using devices that are preferred by most of the people.
researcher David Ellis says that this is the first study that reveals the links between the choice of an operating system of a smartphone, and the personality of the people who use it.
on the other hand, Heather Shaw, also of the University of Lancaster, believes that smartphones are increasingly versions “thumbnail” of your users.
