Samsung gives the first taste of Android 7.0 to your users – Digital Look

Only needed three months for that Samsung started to give its users the first taste of Android 7.0 (Nougat). The company announced a program of testing for the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge, which will allow its users to experience the update is still in beta phase before the other.

from now on, the owners of one of these devices can participate in the Galaxy’s Beta Program, which will give early access to the Nougat, but users need to be aware that this also means that they will be subject to more bugs and usability issues than the others, which receive the finished version.

For now, Samsung is restricting access to the program to users in the United States, the United Kingdom and South Korea. The access can be done by downloading the application from the Galaxy Beta Program, and the number of places for the test are limited, and whoever gets there first takes.

Though limited, the program marks the first update of a Samsung handset for Android 7.0 and gives the go-ahead to updates of other models of the company, which, however, does not confirm which are these phones. It is expected that the Galaxy S6 and the Note 5 will be among the recipients, as well as the Galaxy line, and some intermediaries.

it is Not the first time that Samsung relies on its users to test an update of the operating system to the public at large. In the past year, the company has used the same method with the Galaxy S6 and the Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
