Vodafone Australia has reported that Google is planning on launching the Android 7.1.1 for the Nexus 6P on the 6th of December. The update is about 650 MB, it will include the security patch that same month in conjunction with the new features of Android 7.1.1 Nougat. This update may take up to 2 weeks to reach all devices are eligible.
If the Nexus 6P receive the Android 7.1 the December 6, Nexus 5, Nexus 6, Nexus 9, Nexus Player, and Pixel C will likely also receive the update in question.
Although the disclosure has been made by Vodafone Australia, the update is global, because Google does not have the habit to divide your updates.
The phones Google Pixel and Pixel XL already run the final version of Android 7.1, however will also receive the update at the beginning of December, because they need to get the security patches monthly.
