Microsoft developed for Android keyboard to easily send … – Shifter

Microsoft revealed this week a unique new keyboard for Android . It’s called Hub Keyboard and act as an alternative keyboard, the main highlight of the fact that bringing a number of ready shortcuts to work seamlessly with Office 365 for mobile devices.

With the Hub keyboard, all these sections are immediately accessible from the keyboard, making it more intuitive to share or send contacts or Office 365 documents , avoiding “jump” from one side to the other, between applications, the demand for them.

After you enter the Microsoft account, the user has quick access to a search engine capable of finding files associated with onedrive and Sharepoint . This system consists of an icon bar that appears above the keyboard characters, and depending on what you want to find, you must click on the icon and then you just need to start writing the contact’s name or document, then appearing the associated list of same.

it is important to note that the new keyboard can not detect documents in the memory of the own mobile device , but only those who are associated with the Microsoft account . At this stage, Hub Keyboard does not yet have many features that usually found in virtual keyboards, as the auto broker or Swipe-to-type but, with the recent acquisition of Swiftkey from Microsoft, you can expect many improvements in the future.
