Android Marshmallow finally exceeds 1% share of … – Tudocelular.com

Google released data adoption of Android in February. Last month saw the Marshmallow was close to passing the mark of 1% of market share. Now, just over three months of its launch the latest version of the little robot reaches the 1.2% mark. It seems? The Lollipop Android had 1.6% of the same market time, which shows that the Marshmallow has a slow growth, but not much slower than the previous version.

KitKat still remains the king the piece. With 35.5% share, this version of Android should not take to lose the crown to the Lollipop finally approaches with 34.1% share, 17% for the 5.0 version and 17.1% to 5.1. The Jelly Bean is still third with a total 23.9%. Ice Cream Sandwich and Gingerbread still have numbers greater than the Marshmallow.

Compared to February 2015, the Gingerbread fell by 4.7%, ICS (3.9%), Jelly Bean (20 , 6%) and KitKat (4.2%). Lollipop already achieved growth of 32.5%. The Marshmallow should contain more significant figures in March, since Samsung has finally begun to update the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge for this release. Other flagships of the company should be updated soon.

However, we still see companies like Sony delayed the release of Marshmallow and releasing Android 5.1 for their devices. This does not help you get the top KitKat and do not really see the latest version forward. Not to mention that a version 6.1 Marshmallow may be released soon, further complicating this system advancement.
