Android for viruses is to remotely wipe data from mobile phones – Exam Information

The Heimdal Security revealed that malware Mazar Android BOT is being used to attack devices with the operating system of Google. When the attack is successful, Android data is deleted in its entirety.

This malware is being spread by a message that informs you that you have received a new MMS and must carry a link to download the image. From there, the malware installs TOR terminal and binds to a specific server, getting access to all the information present on the Android device.

According to the The Next Web , the message with a link to the malware is being sent to random numbers all over the world. Curiosity: the terminals that have the Russian default language can not be infected by Mazar Android BOT
