CAT S60 is the first Android smartphone with thermal camera – Tech & Net

Bullit Group He partnered with the Cat in the UK with the aim of developing the first Android smartphone with an integrated thermal camera. This thermal camera is able to measure the temperature of surfaces at distances up to 30 meters and detect heat. In a press release the company goes even further and says that this is the smartphone “more to the world’s water-proof.”

The thermal camera incorporated into the CAT S60 was designed by FLIR and with it users can detect such heat losses around windows and doors or detect areas of concentration of moisture. This camera can also be used to detect overheating or circuit failure in appliances.

No doubt the biggest selling point of this S60 is its thermal camera, but to be designed almost exclusively for “heavy duty “still offers much more to its users. It was certified waterproof up to 5 meters and able to withstand these conditions for at least an hour. CAT S60 is still strong enough not to yield drops of up to 1.8 meters
