Windows 10 to mobile devices was launched recently but the former CEO of Microsoft, Steve Ballmer, seems to want to “bury it” or, at best, pointing out a better way for the company to do so.

Last week, during a Microsoft conference for investors, the Bloomberg heard executive criticize the current CEO, Satya Nadella, and of Microsoft. One of the company’s mistakes, according to Ballmer, is to ignore the Android applications.

The Bloomberg reveals that the executive criticized the Nadella response to an audience member, when he questioned the lack of applications seen as essential, as a Starbucks app.

Nadella said, citing the company’s plan that allows Windows developers write universal applications that run both in computers and for smartphones and tablets, targeting a wider array of devices that only Microsoft devices, representing a small share of the mobile market.

“This will not work,” said Ballmer, while Nadella spoke. Instead, the company should allow Windows Phone also have Android apps, he said.

Ballmer is right? Most likely. But how will Microsoft to convince Android developers direccionarem their applications for Windows? Another Android phone could be the answer.

Strange as it may seem, a ‘Android-Windows “device might not be so far away, because we can already use applications like Cortana, Bing, Outlook, Skype and Office apps on an Android or iPhone device same. But so far, there was no indication that Microsoft is developing its own operating system Android or a new phone accordingly.

This is when both the Android and iOS generate more revenue for developers than Windows Phone. Thus, most of them overlooking the Microsoft operating system.
