After causing trouble in microphones, Microsoft disables resource … – Tudocelular.com

Recently, some users of Android Cortana reported a bug that caused the Microphone their devices stop working. Apparently the feature “Hey, Cortana” was responsible for the problem, and Microsoft is removing functionality with the latest update of the digital assistant in the US for users of the Google system.

For those who are not familiar with the wizard, “Hey, Cortana” is the vocal command that allows users to open the application, equivalent to “Hey, Siri” and “Ok Google”. Unfortunately, it seems that this feature can not be used in users in the US Android devices.

For those who found this problem and were troubled with disabled microphone there is an easier fix than a full uninstall. Just go in Cortana settings in Android device (hamburger menu & gt; settings) and disable “Hey Cortana” manually. How difficult it is to communicate this to all users, Microsoft decided to disable the function directly by upgrading the service.

It is not clear why Cortana is experiencing this problem on Android devices, but theoretically this functionality is interfering with the feature “Ok Google” causing the bug. The Cortana was officially launched on Android earlier this month.

Of course, Microsoft should solve the problem soon and users can usually use the Cortana on Android devices. But even there, the way is to use the same Google Now.
