But the Windows Phone appears at the end of the preferences to have been indicated only 8.7% of respondents, and the BlackBerry OS was not mentioned once.

But there are some ‘curious’ data in study : users of Android, 7.6% think that iOS is the most popular operating system; and iOS users, 17.6% believe that the ‘rival’ Android is the most advanced software.

In another indicator, the Cortado found that 52 3% deposited complete confidence in the operating system using the level of security, rather than an external application prefer to ensure this view. But the fact that 32% of respondents have said they prefer an external app reveals that there is still much work to be done on the security of operating systems.

safety aspect it is the most expensive in terms of features, followed by the ability to access files from internal servers of the company, remote access to Windows applications and access to online storage solutions.

As for the policies of the companies regarding the use of mobile devices, there are several scenarios. The most popular – with 31% of respondents – is one in which the company gives a smartphone or tablet to the worker and allows it to be used on a personal level

. The second most popular policy, indicated in 30% of cases is one in which the company provides equipment, but the same can not be used outside the business environment. Already 23% of respondents say their companies already have policies bring your own device (BYOD its acronym in English).

The study of the Cut was based on 215 interviews with users of the corporate segment and German IT professionals and the UK.
