When Google launched Pixel C showed that also knows how to create tablets prepared for productivity. Now that hit the market, it was clear something that has long been talked. Android is not ready for such equipment.

The opinion of those who have tested the pixel C is unanimous on one point. This is probably one of the best tablets out there for work and the hardware that Google put in this machine can be up to.

Your only problem is the chosen operating system, Android. The lack of some basic functions lie on the ground this tablet and what we wanted to achieve.

This will not be a problem that will remain long unanswered because Google is already attacking two essential points, to multi-task and put applications side by side.

This information appeared in an AMA on Reddit, where a Google team answered questions about the new Pixel C.

We’re working hard on a range of enhancements for Android in this form factor

There are many things, like multi-window, that we’ve been spending a lot of time on -. hopefully we can share more about this soon.

We’re working on lots of things right now is N que, of course, we wish we had, you know, yesterday.

But we ‘d spoil the surprise of N if we shared all of them. Split screen is in the works! “

As well as recognizing the Android gaps for this type of device, shown that they are committed to creating all the necessary features for the success of Pixel C, these should come with Android N, the new version.

The use of windows side by side is not new in the field the tablets. Have been around since Windows 8 and Apple introduced it when released iOS 9 and the iPad Pro.

Google is that it has left out this feature, even being replaced by some manufacturers that have implemented the Android.

With Pixel C Google finally understood their need and so will rush to put it in the next version of Android, more suited to tablets and needs.
