The iMessages, Apple’s messaging service, provides users with a way of communicating directly, immediately and at no cost. But this system is not perfect, especially for those who want to leave the iOS.
The inability to deliver messages to other systems earned the Apple several court cases. But one of them has now been decided, with the reason to side with Apple.
The problem of Apple Service message delivery to other systems outside of its ecosystem is not new. All users who leave iOS no longer receive these messages.
Several cases have been placed against Apple, always alleging that the company deprived the users of these messages for these have abandoned the iOS.
Only in late 2014 Apple has provided a way for users to leave the iMessages who had no access to equipment iOS and went on to alert users to turn off the service before leaving the iPhone.
But the process did not fail to run the courts and decisions begin to emerge. One case was eventually settled, with the judge to give reason for Apple, ending the process.
What is known the process was terminated because it proved that the plaintiffs abandoned their iPhones after the process have begun, it is therefore not possible to prove whether messages have been delivered to the iPhone or Android.
The argument that supported this process has fallen so earth. The alleged plaintiffs that Apple listened communications and filtering messages addressed to Android devices, intentionally depriving these users to have access to your messages.
From now alert users of the need to deactivate the service iMessages before changing phones, Apple has ensured that this problem disappeared.
In addition, the service has become more aware of the delivery of messages and if the can not do went on to warn and trying to send them like normal SMS.
