According to a report from VentureBeat site, Google announced that it will not use APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) Oracle’s Java in future versions of Android.
The Mountain View company will henceforth use the OpenJDK, an open source version of Java Development Kit of Oracle.
This, according to Google, will simplify the development of applications and services, which may be to the liking of its developer community.
