The Android M was presented by Google to background updating the lollipop version needed. This new version is being developed for release later this year, bringing over again that Google is preparing.
The release plans were set, but now Google decided to delay the launch of the third version, without providing a justification.
With trial versions to be prepared and made available on a regular basis, users will be able to see how it is to grow this new version of Android. These versions can for now only be used in Nexus devices, smartphones and tablets that Google produces.
When presented the Android M Google presented a clear timetable for the release of multiple versions of tests in that each step would show what was being done and also the evolution of the system itself.
The arrival of the third M test version was prepared to arrive within days already in the first weeks August, but one of the engineers of Google, Wojtek Kaliciński, announced that this date would be postponed for later.
A quick update on M Developer Preview 3.
We want this to be the near final release to test your apps on, but we need a little more time to get it out to you.
Please be patient and refrain from posting speculations about the release date in the community. We will announce the availability Preview 3 here and on + Android Developers as soon as it’s ready.
Wojtek Kaliciński not provided any reason for this delay and nor what would be the new date launch of this third version of Android M tests.
The time requested by Google due to the need to mature some of the new features and will release a third beta version already very close to what will be the final version of Android M.
It is known that this version should be launched in the third quarter of this year, so Google should begin now to close many future innovations and preparing the Android M for the final release.
The main interest of Google with this release is to solve definitively many of the problems that the version Lollipop brought and preventing many users to use Android in full.
