Google will release Android One in six African countries – the Minute News

The Google announced that its Android One initiative will be to extend the six African countries, including Nigeria, Egypt, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Kenya and Morocco.

As you can read in The Verge, technological Mountain View so will launch a One new Android in these countries, offering free updates to the Android 5.1 operating system in collaboration with the South African operator MTN communications.

With this expansion Google’s intention is to strengthen the impact of Android One program, taking a pattern of use of smartphones to developing countries.
