The new mobile devices from Samsung promises to be machines with features far above the competition. Were created to eclipse everything that already exists and stay on top for long.
But the truth is that Samsung is not taking advantage of the 4GB of RAM that put him in the Galaxy Note 5 and Edge 6 Plus and all thanks to a bad memory management!
Memory Management Issues of the top smartphones from Samsung are not new. But when the Galaxy S and Edge 6 were launched emerged this problem.
The cause for this behavior, which leads to applications to be abruptly closed, is in how Samsung has implemented the management mechanisms memory.
To avoid problems the company decided that the behavior would be simple and ineffective closure of the applications when they are not being used or are in stand-by.
Supposedly these were past problems and Samsung had solved the problem, which together with the changes from Google itself to Android cease to exist.
But recent tests comparing the new Galaxy Edge 6 Plus with the Nexus 6 revealed that the problem still exists and that is much worse than in previous versions of TouchWiz.
As you can see in the video above, the provision of the Galaxy is terrible, with users not being able to have their equipment with open applications, requiring very high waiting times, while these applications are recharged.
If initially, and earlier devices, the problems could be associated with Android Lollipop, who actually had this problem, this situation was resolved, as is evident in the Nexus performance 6.
No one knows the exact reason, but everything points to an overly aggressive memory management, and that is limiting the performance of the new Samsung Galaxy.
This will be another case for Samsung solve and treat. With hardware specifications that bring 4GB RAM behavior was not expected as below normal.
