Of the 329 million smartphones sold in the quarter, about 319 million have an operating system Android or iOS, making up 96.8% of the smartphone market. This means a shrinking space for Windows, with 8.198 million units sold, as well as Blackberry, which has only 1.153 million in sales.

However, it is also noted that the last quarter was marked the biggest slowdown in growth of the smartphone market worldwide, only 13.5%.
