Earlier this year, Razer announced its new game controller Serval for Forge TV, which has all the necessary commands to the navigation system device. However, the control can also be used with any game for Android TV or devices with Android system, whether smartphone or tablet. The device has four action buttons, two top, two analog, two triggers and also supports Bluetooth technology. The product went on sale this week at the Play Store American by $ 80 (somewhere around US $ 260 in direct conversion at current price).
The good news is the company has just launched a website in Portuguese for the product, showing that the novelty will begin shipping soon here in Brazil. The bad part is the novelty will come with hefty price. It is thought a value above R $ 650 , which may seem completely impractical for a game controller, as solutions to the Xbox One or PS4 cost less than half this amount. Razer is known among discerning gamers to always bring high quality products, but investing in a control to play Android games can not be on the wish list of many users of the system. Not to mention that there are products of several companies with much lower cost.
The control comes with ABXY action buttons, analog sticks, two triggers and buttons to navigation on Android. It also features the player indicator LED, being powered by AA batteries. The interesting part is that it is not only compatible with Forge TV or Android devices. You can also use the Razer Serval with your PC, since it available Bluetooth 3.0 connection. Remember that the driver only works on devices that have version 4.2 or higher of the Android .
The company says you can also use the USB-connected model, the use the cable of 1.5 m that comes with the product. Furthermore, it is possible to keep up to four configuration profiles, even though they are on different devices. We do not know if the product can be purchased only at the company’s website, but the same has a good range of partners in Brazil for the distribution of its products in the domestic market.
