When Motorola belong to Google , users had pride in knowing that their devices would be updated in quick time. And it really materialized during the time when the two companies maintained ties. When Lenovo became the new owner of Motorola, many were concerned about the fact that this could interfere with the optimal policy for updates.
However, there seems no nothing to fear. Motorola has just launched the Android Lollipop for Moto X 2014 Pure Edition in the US. Still not the final version, but the pre-finished build. Ie, it is in the final stages of testing and some lucky users can now play with the latest version of the system. This means that everything is within expected soon all users will have the Moto X 2014 Android 5.0 on their smartphones.
As can be seen in the image above, the new count on the material design in new system, improvements in battery consumption, improved performance and stability as a whole, as well as the new notifications panel and shortcuts from the system. The update has averaged 200 to 400MB and is being released via OTA .
The Motorola Moto G reported that 2014 will be the next to join the tests. With this, the company does confirm that the owners of these two models will feature the Android Lollipop later this year . And this is really great news, since neither the Nexus yet received the update officially.
Even in the hands of Lenovo Motorola continues to make the excellent work he did in partnership with Google. The company reports that after these models will be updated instead of the Moto X and Moto G 2013 receiving the attention of the company.
