Android AOSP code Lollipop finally been released by Google – Tudocelular.com

After several months of testing, finally Google released the final version of Android 5.0 Lollipop . Open source, known as AOSP , is now available for download and manufacturers can now generate their images and compiling their modified versions of the system.

This means that the manufacturers have may kick off in updating their models. Some like Samsung and LG promised that this year some of their models already will have the new version of Android. Others like HTC and Sony promise just for the novelty 2015 .

Google has not officially announced the dates on which users of the Nexus line will receive the update. Just been informed via Twitter that this will occur in the coming weeks. However, having already released the open source ensures that XDA Developers , for example, may have to work in the code and launch Lollipop parallel for multiple devices.

The team Cyanogen Inc , responsible for the development of CyanogenMod ROM , said it would begin work on the CM12 where Google finally to release the new AOSP code system. With this, they can already start the process today, and so, in terms of this fantastic ROM soon in our smartphones.

The final version arrives in the build LRX21M , called internally by Google Android-5.0_r1 . Beyond the AOSP code kernels Nexus and Nexus 6 was released 9. Thus, the devs will release custom ROMs for such models soon.
