Google has a new messaging application for Android – TeK.sapo

Let it be Hangouts, if applicable, because the application is different and “independent”. Google Messenger is dedicated to sending and receiving SMS and MMS.

It will come pre-installed on devices with Android 5.0 Lollipop, but can already be downloaded from the Google Play, compatible with smartphones with version 4.1 Jelly Bean or upper deck.

In addition to the more “traditional” roles, the application allows you to send group messages, photos and videos and also audio messages. It also allows archiving older messages, select specific ringtones for certain contacts, and in particular, block unwanted senders

Once installed, Google Messenger can be configured as the default messaging application.
