by

The Google announced on its official blog that the distribution of the new Android 5.0 operating system Lollipop begins today. However do not give more details about how this distribution it will unfold. The only certainty is that if you have a Nexus 4, 5, 7 (2012 and 2013) and 10 Nexus device will be able to upgrade to the new version of Android soon.

The only devices that include Android 5.0 for the Nexus series are 6 and 9 Nexus tablet manufactured by Motorola and HTC respectively.

As usual, due to the customization and certification for operators, devices of other brands such as Samsung, HTC or LG should only get Android 5.0 early next year.

In broad strokes, in addition to the new design of the graphical user interface in this new version of Android the recorded data is encrypted by default, there is a possibility to define user profiles which permit the execution of certain apps.

The lock screen has also been renovated now giving more access notifications without having to unlock the device.

But there much of that talk you soon!

If you have a Nexus can see if the update is available now by going to Settings, About Phone, Update, Check.
