Microsoft offers Office for IPad, IPhone and Android – iOnline

Microsoft has strengthened partnerships and several updates to Office so that your users can work and collaborate more effectively wherever they are and from any device. Thus reinforces the company’s commitment to make its technology – and in particular the Office – accessible to all and from any device, anywhere.

Office for iPad, iPhone and Android

One new feature is the availability of the new Office applications for iPhone and iPad promoting a user experience optimized so that they can take advantage of the applications of Word, Excel and Power Point in mobility.

Users of Android tablets also see their capacity for collaboration and increased productivity with the availability of the preview version of Office, through which they can create and edit content from any device, without the need for subscription service. General availability is expected in early 2015.

OneDrive for Office 365 subscribers with unlimited storage

The OneDrive subscribers to Office 365 Home , Personnel Office 365 and Office 365 University now offers unlimited storage.

Partnership with Dropbox

Microsoft also announced a strategic partnership with Dropbox, which provides for the integration of service storing and sharing files with Office Online (web versions, mobile and tablet). This way, users can access more easily and quickly to your documents and folders stored on Dropbox Online through the Office applications as well as directly edit the contents and synchronize them across all your devices.

Availability of Outlook for Mac

The new Outlook is now also available for Mac, providing users of Office 365 levels superior performance and safety, while still offering an experience familiar and consistent use Outlook on your PC, the Web, iPhone and iPad and Android devices.

New Applications Office for Consumer

  • Office Sway – This is a new application suite Office which allows you to create web expressions from your phone or browser;
  • OneNote notebooks class Application lets you create a “Student Notebook” in OneNote, organized into three areas: Student Notebook (may be shared between student and teacher; these notebooks can access at any time, but students can not see the signatures of others); Content Library (site where teachers can provide course materials); Space Collaboration (directed at any person in the class for sharing, organization and collaboration);
  • OneDrive for Office 365 subscribers with unlimited storage – The OneDrive to subscribers of 365 House Office, Office 365 and Office 365 Staff College now offers unlimited storage.
