When you buy a smartphone, especially with Android, this is common come “equipped” for the operator / manufacturer applications. These pre-installed applications are not native to the mobile platform and is a “type of advertising / fat” that is included for free on mobile devices.
But with Android 5.0 Lollipop, it will be possible to remove these applications pre-installed without much difficulty.
Dave Burke , vice president for engineering at Google, confirmed in an interview given to the site ArsTechnica users who purchase a smartphone with Android 5.0 Lollipop will be able to remove all the pre-installed applications.
This is indeed a great news, since most of the applications that come on the device does not have great utility and, as usual, you can always decide which applications to install via Google Play (or other alternative sources).
With this possibility (already dubbed as Google Play Auto Installs) Google, besides giving the user the freedom to decide which applications you really want in your smartphone, also ensure the best user experience for your platform (this is because a device with limited storage space tends to be too slow).
Burke also said that there will be greater agility in the process of updating the Android mobile platform by the operator / manufacturer, with the very clear objective:. end the fragmentation that affects Android
Do you think this possibility is essential or simply operators should not put ? bloatware on equipment
