  •  

  • Drivers for your Windows PC

  • SDK version super SLIM
  •  

Follow the steps below:

  • Download the SDK and extract the file in the root of drive C: in PC
  •  

  • Download and install the Windows drivers
  •  

  • Turn off your Nexus
  •  

  • Turn it on by holding the Volume + Less Power button to enter fastboot
  •  

  • Connect your device to your PC to install drivers
  •  

  • Go to the SDK unzipped folder on your PC
  •  

  • Press Shift + right mouse button
  •  

  • Choose Open Command Window Here
  •  

And enter the following commands:

  • Fastboot devices
  •  

  • Fastboot oem unlock
  •  

  • Select Yes in the window that appears on your smartphone with the Power button.

After the procedure is finished type fastboot reboot and your phone will reboot. The process can take 2-3 minutes to complete.

Installation via FLASH

The process here is somewhat different from the previous . You will have to extract the downloaded image twice to get to a file in tar format. . It is recommended to use the program 7zip for it

After unpacking the image, follow these steps:

  • Turn off your Nexus
  •  

  • Enter Fastboot mode (Less Volume + Power button)
  •  

  • Connect your Nexus to your PC
  •  

  • Click the flash file file-all.bat
  •  

  • Wait until the procedure is completed
  •  

  • Your phone will reboot in about three minutes
  •  

If it does not restart automatically, select Recovery , when the green robot appears, press Power + Volume button and More select “Wipe data / Factory data reset” .

Your Nexus 4 will reboot with Android Lollipop. Now enjoy all of this great news update from the little robot system.
