Sony reveals plans to update to Android Nougat – Tech&Net

The Sony Slovakia held a press conference where they revealed what are the plans of the manufacturer as to update their smartphones to the latest Android version Nougat. But, you should take into consideration that many of the times the manufacturers have great difficulties in keeping true to the plans outlined with regard to updates.

This information was only revealed in Slovakia, but it is expected that the same timeline is applied to the remaining regions where the smartphones Sony are to be marketed. The first devices to receive the update to Android Nougat will be the Xperia XZ and the Xperia X Performance ever during the month of October. During the month of November will reach the turn of the Xperia X and Xperia X Compact.

Sony hopes to achieve by the end of the year to provide updates to the whole family of Xperia smartphones Z (2015) and at the beginning of 2017, which may be between January and March, it will be the turn of the Xperia XA and Xperia XA Ultra receive the long-awaited update Nougat.

This program is only available to users who are in Lithuania, Estonia, Latvia, Iceland, Italy, Spain, Portugal, and the Netherlands.
