iPhone owners are more ‘boring’ than Android, suggests … – Digital Look

Researchers at the School of Psychology at the University of Lincoln, New Zealand, decided to conduct a study with hundreds of smartphone users to find out what is common among them. The conclusion was that iPhone owners are more “annoying” or “unpleasant” than those using Android.

According to the survey, Apple’s smartphone users tend to be more concerned about status and to be more extroverted. Already who uses an Android phone system has personality traits linked to “honesty” and “humility”, according to the study results. Women also are more likely to use iPhone than Android, according to research.

Heather Shaw, a researcher who led the study, explains that the results reflect how users see themselves and how others the see beyond stereotypes. “Choosing a smartphone is the most basic level of customization, and even this can tell us a lot about the user. It has become increasingly clear that smartphones are becoming a mini digital version of the user,” he says.
