Find out how to open any app in split screen in the Android … – Tudocelular.com

One of the great new features of Android Nougat, and already present in modified versions of the system robozinho, is the resource of the split screen. With this new feature the user can open two apps at the same time on your smartphone, such as watching a video on YouTube while exchanging messages with a friend. However, not all applications can be opened occupying only a part of the screen, such as games, for example. But there is a simple way to force these apps will split the screen with the other.

what you will need is a smartphone with Android Nougat installed. May be a previous version of the test or even the final version that was released for some smartphones line Nexus. After this, simply access the menu 'developer Options'. This menu comes hidden by default, being required to perform a simple procedure to release it:

  • Navigate to the option 'About phone'
  • Look for the 'version Number' and tap seven times
  • message Will be displayed that you are now a developer
  • the

  • Return to the previous screen and you will find the new menu

Now with the developer mode released you will have to search for the option 'Force activities to be resizable,' as seen below. After you enable this option, just restart your device.

As can be seen in the images below, it is now possible to watch videos on YouTube and play Pokémon on the Go at the same time. It is also possible to use the camera of your device with the split-screen, something that was not possible by default. However, it is good to remember that some apps may not work properly when forced to occupy only a portion of the screen, as the game Clash of Clans or Netflix. Either way, with this small change you will have the freedom to use various combinations of apps at the same time.

This procedure may not work on devices with modified versions of the Android Nougat, since some manufacturers, like Samsung, offer a solution to the own-resource, multi-window. In this way, force the opening of apps not compatible may not result in the same way as seen in this tutorial. However, it is worth to test and see the results.
