Chrome extensions come to Android with Yandex – Pplware

Extensions are a simple way browsers have new features and capabilities. But if you are of stone and lime on the desktop, still have a long way to go on mobile devices.

Yandex, a customized version of Chrome, now took this step and brings to the Android browser extensions Google.

Yandex

Yandex is an alternative version to Chrome Google and can be present on the same platforms where Google’s browser is. Designed to be different and more adjusted to the user, has grown, albeit discreetly.

The latest version of this browser, which is still in the testing phase, brings news that many expect to see. Yandex has already support for extensions.

Without a store, this version of Chromium makes use of the current two, Chrome and Opera, to give users a complete offer. Once installed, they are immediately available for use.

Yandex itself has some extensions that propose immediately to users, such as Pocket or password manager LastPass. But the list is extensive, as we all already know Chrome extensions stores and Opera.

Of course, Yandex is true not only by the presence of extensions. The browser follows the line of what many have done with Chromium, but having a very own image and an interface that is minimalist, gives the user everything you need.

While Google does not provide for Chrome extensions, the proposal is Yandex. Can give full Chrome experience, but with the extra that all hope long ago.
