Earlier this week we saw a major update to be released to the WhatsApp on Android in beta channel development. But the most famous messenger of the world to not to make news, all these will be present in the final version to be released in the Play Store soon. Now, a small improvement was made in the camera interface built into WhatsApp.
WhatsApp camera interface was not updated for years. Still saw that blue button old Holo Android interface, while now we have something closer to material design, but with strong iOS camera inspirations. The flash button and camera switching were also redesigned by adopting a more flat and clean design. At the top we have information that alerts the user to hold the shutter button if you want to record a video. Finally, the last pictures taken are displayed above the camera buttons.
And not only capture screen has been redesigned. As we can see below, the screen to share photos also received a small amount of makeup in this update. The side buttons to cancel sending and confirm were removed to the entrance of the floating action button Material Design. In the top there is the same bar with the name of the contact which will be sent the photo, as well as shortcuts to crop the image or return to the screen.
The novelty is available in both update 2.16.4 as the version 2.16.5 . As stated above, the update is not yet available in the Play Store, and need to download the application and perform the installation manually.
