Scheduler creates Android version of ‘Counter-Strike’ – Digital Look

The programmer Alibek Omarov managed to create a version of ‘Counter-Strike’ that runs on Android devices. Because of the limitations resulting from working with the system, the version used by Omarov is the Counter-Strike 1.6 (not Global Offensive, the most recent).

The game starts in a similar way to an Android application and it is controlled by means of touch controls (which, as explained in the developer Reddit are fully customizable). You can still use keyboard and Bluetooth mouse to control the game. A video of the running game can be seen below:

As you can see, creating Omarov is more technical interest than actually a new way to play. Because of the touch and slow controls what happens in moments of most intense game, the version for Android hardly offer satisfactory performance of the game.

Nevertheless, the developer released on GitHub source code of his creation, which allows users golds adapt or improve the program. Also at GitHub you can download the .apk file to install the game on your Android device, although Kotaku point that you must have a version of ‘Counter Strike’ 1.6 installed on a computer to pick up some files.
