You’re forgiven if you do not know that we are talking about. The saga Tales of is great and successful in Japan, but is not well known here in the Americas.
Anyway, this is your chance to meet her, because Namco Bandai has just released game Tales of Link for iOS and Android here in the west. For now, only the US store is distributing the game to iOS, but for Android the game is now available in Brazil for some devices. The saga is characterized by frenetic combat with freedom of movement from the PS2, but this game is not so.
Tales of Link is characterized by a similar gameplay with Bejeweled. Do you have a distributed army on three fronts facing a monster, and connecting three heroes of the same color, the three attack and give time to those who come after them. You know? It’s like the gems falling in Bejeweled, but the side and focused on combat. There is also healing abilities and special attacks, all activated with the same mechanics.
The rest of the game is focused on complex narrative involving gods and end of the world, all with the dubbing in the original Japanese, you you will like if otaku. Unfortunately, the game has only subtitles in English and requires internet connection to play, so no open Tales of Link while waiting in the bank queue (at least if you do not want to spend 3G). But something that can convince you is the opening very well produced.
The game is available for iOS and Android, but still no news about a version for Windows Phone.
