Final Fantasy IX will need Android plugins to run on PC – Tudocelular.com

There are already versions of Final Fantasy IX for Android and iOS, and as is common in the re-released games for other platforms by Square Enix, cost a small fortune in each (R $ 87, 60 Android and iOS for $ 20.99). Considering the unique platform it was released, the dear and beloved PlayStation I, is to be expected that even smartphones and more basic tablets able to actually run the game smoothly, so it is expected that PC users are looking forward to the arrival of game, see where you can improve the graphics of one of the most cherished versions of the franchise.

there is still no official date for the arrival of FF IX on the PC, which still appears as “Early 2016″ in Steam store, although no official price. Expectations are high, however, since the original game was in 4 media CDs, totaling 2.8 GB, while the Steam recommends having 20 GB of disk space for the recommended experience. That is, apparently there will be a significant gain in quality, with the Core i5 2520 and a compatible video card with at least DirectX 9 to run it, setting that overcomes, and the capabilities of simpleton PS One.

Interestingly, the PC version will require Android plugin to run properly, according to Square Enix. This means that, at best, the company has not created a specific version for the PC, but made an adjustment to run it. This not there generate much optimism, as this could mean a change of the word “adaptation” to “kludge”, something that users would be willing to pay a high value to run an improved version of the game would not be very happy.

Among the differential resources for PC that are not available for Android and iOS, Square Enix promises even better graphics, enabled auto-save, achievements within the Steam (as with all games) and some differences within the same game, still nothing has been detailed.

It’s the Final Fantasy IX fan? What do you think that Square Enix is preparing differently to conquer the PC users? What believes it will cost in the Brazilian store Steam? Tell us in the comments!
