Google releases Android Studio 2.0 with several improvements – Tudocelular.com

The new version of one of the preferred tools for Android developers adds several important features, and show what Google is planning for the future. Android Studio 2.0, now in a stable release, helps to optimize the code for any type of device that runs Android, smartphones and tablets to Android TV, adds full support GitHub, making it easier collaboration between several concurrent users and now comes with an automator called “Gradle”, an automated compiler

Check out the main new features in the video below.

As you can see, you can now see the changes in real-time code without the need to restart the application in most cases, depending on the level where changes are executed on the virtual machine.

In relation to the emulator, Google ensures it runs up to three times faster than previous summers and is now integrated with Google Play services. It also performs I / O operations much more quickly and emulates various APIs, like GPS and sensors available.

An especially important feature it is the addition of debugging GPUs on Android, to simulate her behavior without needing to run the application on the actual device. Considered the performance gain of current GPUs that many Android manufacturers are doing recently, as the Mali T880 dodecacore Galaxy S7, Android Studio 2.0 can represent a milestone in the platform, with developers optimizing their code to run more and more on the GPU. Other changes inclem general polishing and bug fixing known within the IntelliJ 15, program basis.

If your Android Studio not yet upgraded, you can do it manually by accessing the Help menu within the program, noting that previous codes must be linked manually.
