Marshmallow doubles its stake in Android platform … – AndroidGeek

As usual in Google at the beginning of each month they offer the Android system adoption report. In this latest update finally checks-a significant increase in devices running the latest version of the mobile operating system, Android Marshmallow.
Now with 4.6% market share against the 2.3 that were announced last March, does provide that eventually Android Marshmallow began to grow. The 4.6% is still a very small number of devices running an operating system older than 6 months of existence, and when testing the Android N have started, but still this rise to double, is very encouraging.

who continues to grow although at a milder pace than has been usual, is the Android Lollipop it won 0.3% market share, and will now have 35.8%, cementing the leadership that had taken last report.

the one who was the Android king for a long time, Android KitKat continues a line descending losing this month 0.9% going to have 33.4%, but still in the vice leadership of the list.
Android Jelly Bean now has 21.3% stake, saw its share has declined 1 % this past month.

With the advance of months we will see the Android Marshmallow ultimately increase their market share. However the appearance of Android N can make version 6 slow down a bit, since manufacturers may already be taking steps to skip upgrading the M directly to the N.
