Google confirms release of Android Auto in Brazil – Techworld

Google confirmed on Monday, 04/04, the official launch of the Android Auto Brazil, the company’s app that mirrors your phone’s functions on the dashboard.

According to the technology giant, the release of the app in the country will be phased in gradually over the coming weeks.

in total, Google launches Android Auto in 19 new countries on Monday, including Argentina and Chila neighbors, plus Switzerland.

How it works

Drivers owners of Android smartphones and cars with compatible plants can use the integrated experience the system offers. To use Android Auto, you need to connect a smartphone (Lollipop version or higher) to the car control with a USB cable.

Once connected, the panel display shows the installed applications the cell that have a version optimized for use in vehicles. Along the way, the phone screen is locked so you can not use it while driving.

According to Google, all companies that are part of the Open Automotive Alliance, a global network which brings together technology companies and leaders in the automotive industry, are committed to possibly implement the Android Auto, which include models from Fiat, Ford, Hyundai, Mitsubishi and Suzuki
