WhatsApp takes iPhone feature for Android smartphones – EXAME.com

São Paulo – WhatsApp has released an update that allows the user to answer a direct message notification . This means you no longer need to open the application to continue a conversation.

When a message arrives, the notification will show the sender, text and a variety of options to respond. You can write using emoji and also send audio. There is also the possibility to dismiss the notification or open the conversation on WhatsApp.

The feature, which was already known by users of the iPhone , has now come for smartphone system Android . Recently, Google added the same functionality in Hangouts, the company chat app.

According to the Android Police , the update is only available to those who have downloaded the beta version of WhatsApp – which can be downloaded for free from the Play Store. Generally, after the testing phase in the beta model, the app incorporates functions in a new update for all users.

In addition to the rapid response, the update brought more features to the app. Some of them are multiple selection, optimizing some actions of the talks. For example, now when the user clicks on a photo of a group or a contact he will see some options, such as archive, delete or mark as unread.

The coolest part of this tool is that it is can select multiple conversations at once, regardless of whether they have already been read or silenced.

Another new feature of the beta version is the use of solid colors for the background of a conversation. Before, you could use pictures to color your chats, but there was no other alternative app itself beyond the original background of WhatsApp
