New bug in Android is able to ‘kill’ the smartphone – the Minute News

It was discovered a new fault present in Android operating systems and allows attackers to make the device completely inoperable.

This vulnerability was discovered by security laboratory Trend Micro, referring to activate the failure simply transfer an altered MKV file that, when accessed by the multimedia system , makes the smartphone becomes unstable and finally inoperable.

Not as serious as ‘Stagefright’, which affects about 95% of smartphones with the operating system of Google, this failure can still be nameless explored in 56.8% of smarthpones, particularly those with version 4.3 of Android.
