The Youtube for Android is one of apps more popular and that it works relatively well. However one of the features that most lack was the ability of the user to advance and rewind 10 seconds in the video, such as is possible through the Web interface. The new version of Youtube for Android (11.47) gives already the possibility for users to fast forward and rewind 10 seconds in a video. To do this, and almost in an innovative way, users only have to double-tap the screen and rotate the device to one of the sides (left for rewind and right to fast forward).
More amazing still is the fact that the user is able to fast-forward or rewind more seconds and for this purpose the need to give more double taps on the screen. For example, if the user der three double taps the video will move forward or slip backward 30 seconds.

If you don’t have the YouTube 11.47 you can get it here. After you installed the new version just go to Settings > Applications > YouTube > Storage and then clear all data for this new functionality becomes available.
