How powerful is nostalgia, how much impact will the return of an old friend to the shops and storefronts around the world. Will the name NOKIA still will awaken the willingness to invest, to buy, have a NOKIA in your pocket. Now that we can say that in 2017 the Finnish company will launch new smartphones, it remains to be seen whether they still have a place in this very competitive market and clearly dominated by Apple, Samsung and Huawei.

let’s Start by making a point of the situation. The name NOKIA will return in 2017 under the command of the HMD Overall, the Finnish company that bought the rights to use the trademark to Microsoft and is expected to launch several phones, those simple equipment that immediately associate it with NOKIA. This will serve to rekindle the flame in our hearts and to prepare us for the smartphones seriously and say, by the way, NOKIA will need all the love and affection that you once had, that if you want to go back to being a brand relevant in the market mobile.
The “new” NOKIA will be led by the lord Arto Numella, an authentic veteran of the Finnish company, having joined the ranks of NOKIA in the year 1994. You will have the noble task to bring this myth back to reality and to the market of mobile devices.
By this time it’s no secret that the next smartphone from NOKIA will use the Android operating system, but until now we didn’t know how heavy (or light) would be your approach to the operating system from Google. In short, we didn’t know how custom would be your user interface (UI), see the example of Samsung and its TouchWiz interface, as well custom, or Huawei with its EMUI. On the other side of the scale we have HTC with their Sense and Motorola, both of them with a very light to a pure Android.
If you are an avid supporter of the pure Android, or prefer a UI very clean and, if possible, the next Android as it is designed by Google, so I have good news for you. According to the statements of the lord Numella to Reuters (source), the HMD will have entered into a partnership directly with Google and, although the details and extent of this collaboration are not yet known, it is expected that the next smartphone from NOKIA will have a user interface (UI) very close to the most pure state of the Android operating system.
I Hope that the next the tops of the range of NOKIA bring a skin very slight of Android, without unnecessary applications, and that are there to weigh in on the smartphone (the typical bloatware), and if Google is even involved in the software of these equipment, the scenario becomes increasingly attractive and beginning to get quite anxious that these smartphones are effectively presented, something that will happen on the 27th of February 2017!
For his part, Bloomberg (via) adds some information interesting about the return of NOKIA:
“We will be extremely loyal and true to the NOKIA brand”, declarations of the lord Nummela to Bloomberg. “The NOKIA brand is known for its simplicity, ease of use, durability and quality. These are the elements on which we will build the new equipment, with an industrial design”.
I sincerely Hope that the words of the new leader of the HMD, and therefore targets for NOKIA are right. Equipment practically stock Android (or at least not bloatware, and that to do justice to the name and the weight the brand carries. Well we know that the NOKIA phones were famous for their durability, by the battery and, later, by the quality of their cameras.
In your opinion what was the point (feature) the stronger of the NOKIA phones?
